This is something you might have missed, too: Another set of Redmi Note 12 series models is coming to the Philippines.
The local unit of Xiaomi has announced it is launching the Redmi Note 12S and Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G phones June 9. Recall that it unveiled the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G a month and a half ago.
The Redmi Note 12S counts its 108-megapixel triple-rear-camera system, 6.43-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, and 33-watt fast charging solution as its highlights. It packs a 5,000mAh battery, dual speakers, and a MediaTek Helio G96 processor, too.
The LTE version of the Redmi Note 12 Pro, on the other hand, adds a 2-megapixel depth-sensing sensor to its camera setup on the back. It is equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a battery rated at 5,000mAh and can be charged up to 67 watts, Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chip, and LiquidCool technology. While the two smartphones will still go official in the country in a few days, they are already being sold by promoters, including on Facebook. Posts show the Redmi Note 12S and Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G handsets with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage are priced at P12,999 (roughly $231) and P14,999 ($267), respectively.
