Transsion Holdings was recently named one of the top five global smartphone vendors for Q2 2023 by industry analyst Canalys, in large part due to the company’s strong performance in emerging countries, as well as across the African, Latin American, and Middle East markets.

Its latest offering under one of its more popular sub-brands, the newly announced and much-hyped Infinix GT 10 Pro, aims to solidify its current position — and likely succeed in doing so. If you’re not familiar, the GT 10 Pro is Infinix’s first dedicated gaming phone with the hardware chops to back it up. With a Nothing Phone-inspired design that features a semi-translucent back and a customizable mini-LED light, the device certainly looks the part.

Infinix Mobile has yet to unveil the GT 10 Pro’s exact price, but it is said to vary between $240 (around P13,343) and $250 (P13,899) depending on the region. That’s a killer price for a 5G-capable model that packs a 5,000mAh battery with fast wired-charging support up to 45 watts and a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset kitted with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.

Consider that the similarly specced Infinix Note 30 VIP carries a suggested price of P13,999 ($252) in the Philippines. Both smartphones are powered by a Dimensity 8050 5G chip.

At the back, the Infinix GT 10 Pro is equipped with a 108-megapixel main image sensor, while a 32-megapixel front-facing camera sits in a punch-hole cutout to take care of selfies. The 10-bit AMOLED display is 6.67 inches and supports a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz and up to 360Hz touch sampling. Crucially, the panel also comes with 1,920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, making it safe for low-light use.
