One of these could end up topping the Dxomark charts for a time again, just like the Find X6 Pro.

The OPPO Find X7 series, which consists of the OPPO Find X7 Ultra and OPPO Find X7, have been launched in China. And they’re loaded in the camera department. The Ultra especially.

The latter comes equipped with four 50-megapixel sensors and introduces some features that have never been seen before in the smartphone space, such as two periscope zoom lenses and a 1-inch Sony LYT-900 main sensor.

The detail that distinctly stands out for us here is the dual-periscope design. One is a carryover from the the Find X6 Pro — the 65mm 3x zoom lens with 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890 that has an f/2.6 aperture and optical image stabilization and can focus as close as 25cm — and the other is a 135mm 6x zoom lens with a 1/2.51-inch Sony IMX858 sensor that has OIS and can go as near as 35cm.

Joining the three is a new Sony LYT-600 ultrawide sensor that’s 1/1.95 inches in size and gets a 14mm equivalent focal length, an f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, and the ability to capture subjects from as close as 4cm.

The regular OPPO Find X7 is no slouch either. It’s packed with two 50-megapixel cameras; the primary sensor has an f/1.6 aperture, an equivalent focal length of 23mm, autofocus, and OIS, while the ultrawide shooter features an f/2.0 aperture, a 15mm equivalent focal length, a 119-degree viewing angle, autofocus, and support for 3.5cm macro shooting. The third, 64-megapixel periscope camera gets an f/2.6 aperture, an equivalent 70mm focal length, autofocus, and OIS.

Both the OPPO Find X7 Ultra and Find X7’s imaging system is tuned by Swedish manufacturer Hasselblad. And their front camera is the 32-megapixel unit from the latest series’ predecessors.

Elsewhere, the Find X7 Ultra sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, an A+-rated 6.82-inch curved 2K OLED screen whose peak brightness can reach 4,500 nits, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100-watt wired and 50-watt wireless charging. Price starts at ¥5,999 (roughly P47,028 or $845).

The more affordable Find X7 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300. It’s packed with a smaller (6.78 inches) but still highly rated curved OLED display and the same battery and charging speeds as those on the Ultra model. It costs from ¥3,999 (P31,352 or $563).

Considering the more recent Find X series phones weren’t released in the Philippines, there’s a low chance that OPPO will bring its two latest imaging masterpieces to the country.
