Sold out in just a few minutes?

realme‘s first Note series smartphone first went live for purchase on TikTok Shop Philippines January 23. And guess what? It performed better than expected.

According to the brand, 4,000 units of the realme Note 50 sold out 10 minutes after it began live-selling the handset on the e-commerce platform. That makes the newly launched phone the fastest-selling model yet on TikTok Shop in 2024.

Granted there are still a few days left before February swings by, but come to think of it, we should not be surprised considering the realme Note 50’s P3,599 (around $64) regular price has dropped to as low as P2,499 ($45) as the company’s offer for early birds. That’s a discount of as much as P1,100 ($20) — a huge one in the entry-level category. And the specs, which we listed at the end of this article, are decent for the price.

Let’s say all 4,000 units was sold at the lowest price possible. That could mean realme made at least a gross amount of P9,996,000 ($177,987). Congratulations, squad.

Congratulations on the sales success of the realme Note 50, realme Philippines!
