It looks like the TECNO CAMON 30 Pro 5G, which we saw at Mobile World Congress 2024 in Barcelona, Spain, will be heading to the Philippines soon.

TECNO‘s local arm has named the CAMON 30 Pro 5G the official tournament phone of Farlight 84 Philippines Championship Season 3 Finals. The tournament is slated to take place on April 27 until the 28th at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati. TECNO has a booth at the venue, so you may want to drop by if you’re in the area and interested in its latest sub-flagship.
In Nigeria, where the CAMON 30 series recently launched, the TECNO CAMON 30 Pro 5G carries a suggested retail price of ₦538,000 (roughly P23,459 or $408), though it’s expected to cost lower in the Philippines, where smartphones are generally cheaper than in the West African market.

Specs-wise, there’s plenty to get excited about here. This CAMON 30 series model gets a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor at the back, the same sensor used in high-end phones like the OnePlus 12R, OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G, and Nothing Phone 2. The selfie cam also gets a 50-megapixel sensor with autofocus, while video recording capped at 4K 60fps.
Things get surprisingly better inside, as the TECNO CAMON 30 Pro 5G is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 5G chipset with Mali-G610 graphics and a 5,000mAh battery that supports wired fast charging up to 70 watts. The AMOLED display is no slouch, too, offering FHD+ visuals at up to an incredibly smooth refresh rate of 144Hz.
