realme has promised that its next product offering will make a grand entry.

That smartphone model that we now know as the realme GT 6T is scheduled to launch in India on May 22.

The brand has shared only a few details ahead of the event thus far: that the device is India’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 5G phone, achieving an Antutu benchmark score of more than 1.5 million points, and that its 5,500mAh battery can be charged from 0% to 50% in as fast as 10 minutes courtesy of realme’s 120-watt SUPERVOOC charging technology.

The company has also revealed the design of the realme GT 6T. Here.

Launch teaser for the realme GT 6T, claimed to be a ‘top performer’

Looks familiar? Yeah, it’s designed like the newly released smartphones in China, the realme GT Neo6 and realme GT Neo6 SE. And because of the revealed specs we mentioned earlier, we can presume that the realme GT 6T is a mix of the two. Recall that the Neo6 SE uses a Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor while the Neo6 comes with support for up to 120 watts of fast charging.

Either way, we assume that just like the latest GT models for the Chinese market, the yet-to-go-official handset also boasts a BOE-manufactured 66.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO screen with a whopping 6,000 nits of local peak brightness and Greenfield AI active eye-protection feature, which should be useful to gamers and anyone seeking a visually stunning experience.

The realme GT 6T probably packs a 50-megapixel dual camera on the back and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. It will likely ship with Android 14-based realme UI 5 out of the box as well. We’ll know all about about it soon — or just a day before the POCO F6 series’ global launch, which we at Revü Philippines will be covering in Dubai.
