The ASUS ZenFone 5Z is now officially available at local retail, two months after it was announced for the Philippine market in April 2018. Now that it’s here, you might be wondering where you can get it at the lowest price (thus far) — without sacrificing warranty coverage from the manufacturer.

The good news is that CMK Cellphones has the ZenFone 5Z on sale for cheaper than its official price of P29,995 (around $561). The online retailer lists the flagship Android smartphone at P27,995 ($524), albeit minus all the free stuff ASUS promised to those who preordered it.

Another thing worth noting is that CMK only accepts cash as a payment option and that you’ll need a (small) down payment to purchase the unit offline. That’s kind of the price you pay for, well, a lower price tag. Not that it should surprise anyone who’s done business with the reseller before; CMK has built quite a reputation for consistently lower prices across the board.

As for the phone itself, the ASUS ZenFone 5Z arrives in the Philippines with a top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It has a notch LCD screen that measures 6.2 inches and runs Android 8.0 Oreo. It’s powered by a 3,300mAh battery. Rounding out the key features are dual rear-facing cameras with 12 and 8 megapixels and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

In the Philippines, the ASUS ZenFone 5Z is the second-cheapest smartphone with a Snapdragon 845 under the hood. The most affordable option is the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S, which costs P27,990 ($524) locally.
