A week after the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro were launched in the Philippines, Xiaomi has dropped the prices of two Redmi Note 9 series models.

The company has announced that each of the two memory configurations of the Redmi Note 9S and Redmi Note 9 Pro are now more affordable than ever. See the new pricing below:

• Redmi Note 9S (4GB + 64GB): P9,490 ($195) from an original suggested retail price of P10,490 ($216)
• Redmi Note 9S (6GB + 128GB): P10,490 ($216) from an SRP of P11,990 ($247) at launch
• Redmi Note 9 Pro (6GB + 64GB): P10,990 ($226) from P12,490 ($257) when it was released
• Redmi Note 9 Pro (6GB + 128GB): P11,990 ($247) from an original P13,990 ($288) SRP

The Redmi Note 9S is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip and gets a 48-megapixel quad camera system on the back, a 16-megapixel selfie shooter housed in a punch hole at the top center of the 6.67-inch screen, and a 5,020mAh battery with support for 18-watt fast charging.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro also packs a Snapdragon 720G SoC inside, but it already boasts a 64-megapixel quad camera that can take RAW images for editing on a computer later; Log mode for videos; and cinematic options for shooting. And its 5,020mAh battery supports faster charging up to 30 watts.
