Infinix is closing out the month by launching two new accessories in the Philippines. Arriving on Sept. 30, the Infinix GT NX Controller and Infinix GT NX Station are the final pieces tying the GT Verse ecosystem together.

These two new peripherals are purpose-built for the Infinix GT 50 Pro — a gaming phone we previously reviewed and praised, which currently carries a suggested retail price of ₱25,999 (around $417) for the 12GB/256GB base version — but they should also work with other models.

When the NX Controller and NX Station drop at the end of September, Infinix’s hardware ecosystem will finally feel complete, tying together the smartphone, the GT Buds 5, and the GT Watch 5 Pro into a cohesive gaming setup. Let’s break down the two incoming accessories.

Infinix GT NX Controller

Instead of just slapping some analog sticks onto the side of your phone, Infinix also integrated a low-latency three-chip architecture into the NX Controller. It features a pixel-level precision touchpad and adjustable haptics that promise to deliver additional tactile feedback, like a long vibration when you jump out of the plane in a battle royale, or a quick pulse to warn you when the zone is shrinking. It’s designed to bridge the gap between touchscreen tapping and physical console controls, offering independent mapping specifically tailored to make skill-casting in games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang feel more intuitive and natural.

Other features include textured anti-slip grips, a 22-hour battery life, and a split design that lets you use it clamped to your smartphone, detached on a desk, or even one-handed.

Infinix GT NX Station

The Infinix GT NX Station is arguably the more interesting piece of hardware. It’s essentially a desktop dock that transforms the GT 50 Pro into a mini-console. You drop the phone into the cradle, and it immediately benefits from a built-in thermoelectric cooler to fight off the thermal throttling that inevitably creeps in during marathon sessions of heavy action RPGs or shooters.

But it’s also a 9-in-1 hub. You get an HDMI output to mirror or extend your gameplay to an external monitor or TV, an RJ45 Ethernet port for a stable wired connection, a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, and multiple USB ports. In other words, it’s an all-in-one solution that addresses multiple pain points of playing intensive titles on a mobile device.

All this extra hardware sounds great, but it would make even more sense when paired with a true flagship. To actually take full advantage of a desktop dock or a precision touchpad and hit legitimate console-level performance, you need top-tier specs pushing the frames. Still, building out the ecosystem first is a nice strategy. Hopefully, having this ecosystem fleshed out is a hint that the next GT phone from Infinix will pack significantly more power under the hood.
