Saints Row: The Third Remastered hits iOS and Android, and it might be 2026’s best mobile port

It’s the mobile port we have been waiting for since day one. We’d even go as far as saying this is our most anticipated official mobile port for 2026 — and so far, it doesn’t disappoint. The long-awaited Saints Row: The Third Remastered mobile port by Feral Interactive is finally available on Android and iOS.

At just ₱379 here in the Philippines, the game is a steal. Regional pricing makes it super accessible for local gamers, especially when you consider the global price tag is $19.99. Given how the peso is performing against the dollar right now, you’re getting incredible value. Be prepared to clear some space, though. You need around 20GB to install it on an Android device. That’s fair considering the remaster includes all DLCs, giving you 14 extra missions plus over 30 bonus weapons, vehicles, and costumes.

It even supports local co-op. We have not taken that mode for a spin yet, but we plan to soon. On the performance front, the game hits a rock-solid 60 fps on our Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite testing phone. If you rock an Android flagship with similar specs, expect a smooth, hiccup-free experience. Don’t see the title in your Google Play Store app? Your device might just lack the required specs. Remember, this is a full PC and console port, so it demands high-end hardware.

Which brings us to a frustrating point: Saints Row: The Third Remastered currently lacks support for the top-tier MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chip. We looked forward to seeing how this new 2nm silicon handles a demanding open-world game. A quick aside, though: Feral Interactive is not alone here. The Netflix releases of Red Dead Redemption and Monster Hunter Rise also refuse to boot on MediaTek’s newest flagship processor. Here’s hoping the developers fix this in a future update.

We ran the game at max settings on our Snapdragon 8 Elite test device. The smartphone got warmer than usual, but it never overheated, even after a half-hour session. We noticed zero major frame drops from thermal throttling — always a great sign. On the battery front, finishing the 30-minute prologue drained 18% of our charge with screen brightness set to 50%.

Beyond running smoothly, Saints Row: The Third Remastered looks crisp and vibrant on a modern flagship display. The opening cutscenes are a real standout, setting a great tone the second you boot it up. We often anticipate graphical downgrades with these types of ports, but the environment textures hold their own even from a distance. Our initial run stayed bug-free, save for a handful of minor texture pop-ins when panning the camera.

Feral Interactive has a well-earned reputation for delivering top-tier mobile ports, and Saints Row: The Third Remastered keeps that streak alive

We test many demanding games on top-of-the-line devices, and seeing a chaotic sandbox game run this well on smaller screens is a treat. Feral Interactive has a well-earned reputation for delivering top-tier mobile ports, and Saints Row: The Third Remastered keeps that streak alive. They nailed it once again.

For the price of two tall Starbucks drinks, you get plenty of content to tide you over while we wait for the next great mobile port — or even GTA 6, which is just around the corner.
