Based on the accompanying description, it is said to incorporate the much-vaunted wider aspect ratio, which is great for gaming and watching video.

Someone sent us this press render of the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Plus.

More impressively, the photo shows four cameras in total, two on each panel, suggesting that the device could be capable of snapping pictures with a blurred-background, or bokeh, effect — from either front or rear.

In that case, the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Plus will join the soon-to-be-released CloudFone Infinity Quattro and Huawei Nova 2i in the category of phones with wide screen and four cameras.

While the side bezels are satisfyingly thin, its top and bottom bezels are thicker by comparison. There are no signs of physical or capacitive navigation buttons up front, meaning software keys are likely present.

There will be a fingerprint reader on the back, too, and based on the iPhone-inspired antenna bands at the top and bottom, there’s a good chance the Flare S6 Plus will feature a metal unibody design.

One last interesting tidbit: The unit will include a single flash unit for the front-facer, while quad-LED flash accompanies the rear camera for a more uniform lighting across an image.

Cherry Mobile would be logical to release the Flare S6 Plus as the sequel to the Cherry Mobile Infinity, the company’s outgoing flagship. The thin side bezels, the 18:9 picture mode — those traits are a gimme, without a doubt.
