It’s finally official. Called the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Selfie, the device has been launched together with two other smartphones that are part of the Flare S6 series — the Flare S6 and the Flare S6 Plus.

And as with all things Cherry, the Flare S6 Selfie is intended for the masses — those who love to take self-portraits but have limited budget. It’s priced at just P7,999 or roughly $155.

Powering the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Selfie is a MediaTek 6750T octa-core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. It’s running Android Nougat and includes dual SIM slots, with the second being a hybrid slot that can fit either a SIM card or SD card.

The full-HD display measures 5.2 inches — not too big, not too small. Other features include a future-proof USB Type-C connection and a 2,600mAh battery.
