Huawei Philippines’ star for this year — the P18,990 (around $367) Nova 5T, which is meant to be a flagship phone for the younger generation — will finally be released September 14.

(Update, September 11: We got word from Huawei that this promo is only for those who preordered their Nova 5T at the Huawei Concept Store at SM North EDSA.)

Each preorder already comes with freebies, such as a pair of Huawei Surround Speakers worth P1,990 ($38) and a year’s subscription to iFlix, valued at P1,308 ($25). But if you claim your reserved unit at the consumer launch event at SM North Edsa’s The Block Atrium this Saturday, you have a chance to score more freebies.

Claiming of Huawei Nova 5T preorders start at 1 p.m. However, we urge you to be at the venue early, as giveaways will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. See the details below:

  • First 50 customers: Free Huawei Nova 2 Lite, which is currently priced at P8,990 ($174)
  • 51st-200th claims: Free Huawei FreeLace Buds, which are worth P3,490 ($67)
  • 201st-300th claims: Free Huawei Band 3, which is selling for P2,490 ($48)

If you’re based in Davao — or live nearby, at least — we understand that there will be more freebies, too. Check out this post for more information. We’re not sure if there’s a similar activity in the Visayas region, particularly in Cebu, but we won’t be surprised if there is one.
