Lenovo Philippines announced the latest Legion Slim 7i alongside the Legion Phone Duel gaming phone at the 2020 ESGS [Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit].
In the Philippines, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i has a suggested retail price of P99,995 (about $2,066 converted) for the lone available configuration with an Intel Core i7 processor and discrete graphics courtesy of NVIDIA. It will go on sale at Lenovo authorized stores nationwide soon. Every purchase of the gaming laptop comes with a Legion Recon backpack and Lenovo’s 3-year Premium Care after-sales service.
The Legion Slim 7i is touted as a “finely calibrated gaming machine” in an impressively slim and lightweight form factor. It weighs 1.8 kilograms while measuring just 17.9mm at its thickest point, making it the world’s lightest 15.6-inch gaming laptop sporting an RTX card and proving that processing power doesn’t necessarily come at the expense of portability.

Under the hood, it’s powered by an Intel Core i7-10750H processor coupled with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 2060 graphics capable of real-time ray tracing. It also offers 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB of SSD storage with an extra SSD slot for expanded storage.
Meanwhile, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i’s 15.6-inch FHD screen features 100-percent sRGB color gamut, HDR support via Dolby Vision, as well as a 144Hz refresh rate for super-smooth gameplay and fast response times.
To keep the internals running at optimal temperatures, Lenovo includes the Legion Coldfront 2.0 cooling system that promises up to 115% better airflow over the CPU and GPU components. Other gaming specs include a TrueStrike Corsair RGB keyboard with 100% anti-ghosting technology and second-transition switches for a more mechanical feel and a long-lasting 71Wh battery that seems generous for a portable gaming laptop.
