Converge subscribers get free speed boost of up to 300 Mbps

The situation that we’re in this 2020, with many people being forced to stay at home, has brought to the fore the need for internet speed in residential areas. So a new offer by Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions Inc. should be welcome news to its subscribers.

(Update, December 28: Another good news: Converge subscribers get even more free speed upgrades.)

According to a press statement sent by the company, Converge Residential Internet Plan customers will get free permanent speed upgrades on their current plans starting today, December 15. The boost is set between 25 megabits per second up to as much as 300 Mbps. This is to celebrate the company’s million-subscriber milestone.

There’s more. Those who are subscribed to Plan 1500 will get a boost from 35 Mbps to a maximum of 45 Mbps for a minimal additional fee of P99 per month.

“New subscribers can also enjoy their first month completely free when they apply for any plan from December 12, 2020, to January 31, 2021,” Converge ICT says.

So, what do you need to do to get the free speed increase? It’s simple. Existing customers only need to log in here for that to take effect. Those who have yet to lodge their application should do so through Converge ICT’s self-serve app site, gofiber.ph.
