The Vivo S1 Pro is now more affordable than ever in the Philippines, thanks to a recent price cut. For a limited time, you can score one of Vivo‘s AMOLED-equipped, selfie-focused midrange smartphones at a more reasonable price of P11,999 (around $248 converted).
That’s P4,000 ($83) off its original price of P15,999 ($331) when the S1 Pro debuted late last year. This particular promo runs until the end of the year, giving you enough time to complete your last-minute holiday shopping.
If you recall, the Vivo S1 Pro is available in Knight Black and Fancy Sky color variants and has a Super AMOLED FHD+ screen with a waterdrop notch for a 32-megapixel front-facing camera that remains one of the sharpest in the category. The display also comes with a fingerprint scanner built into the panel for faster unlocking and a cleaner aesthetic.
On the back, you get a 48-megapixel main camera alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter and dedicated 2-megapixel sensors for portrait and macro. Interestingly, the cameras are housed in a diamond-shaped module, which we haven’t seen anywhere else since the S1 Pro. For selfies, there’s AI Face Beauty, as well as Pose Master, which basically tells you where to stand to get the best framing possible.
The Vivo S1 Pro runs a custom Android overlay on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone also includes Vivo’s Game Center feature for uninterrupted gameplay and to help you achieve better frame rates when playing games. If you want to play around with your voice, there’s even a built-in Voice Changer function.
To keep the lights on, the S1 Pro sports a 4,500mAh battery backup and supports 18-watt fast charging over a USB-C connection.
