The one you’re looking at is the Realme C11 that was launched in the Philippines in July 2020. But there’s a new version of that smartphone, and it has already arrived on our shores.

Initially spotted by the MySmartPrice team, the Realme C11 2021 is now up for sale on e-commerce sites Lazada and Shopee. It’s priced at P4,990, or roughly $104, similar to last year’s model. What has changed? What are their differences?

It all boils down to the chip, the rear camera setup, the operating system, and the color variants. While the 2020 version has a MediaTek Helio G35 processor, 13- and 2-megapixel sensors on the back, Realme UI based on Android 10, and Mint Green and Pepper Grey colors, the Realme C11 2021 goes a different, route. It uses a UniSoC SC9863 chipset, has only one rear camera (an 8-megapixel unit), and runs Android Go.

It seems that the rest of the specs are the same, from the waterdrop screen measuring 6.5 inches to the 5,000mAh battery with support for 10-watt charging.

We tried searching for last year’s unit on Lazada and Shopee, but all that comes up is the C11 2021. Realme must have phased out the former by now.
