So the “series” in the latest Vivo press release we got actually meant “lineup.” And the new phones have now been rolled out to Philippine stores.

The entry-level Vivo Y15s and Vivo Y15A are now official in the country, with the Y15s going on sale for P6,999 (around $139) and the Y15A getting a P7,999 ($159) suggested retail price.

The two smartphones have a lot in common, including the Mystic Blue and Wave Green colors that are reminiscent of the ocean. In fact, the only difference between them are their memory configurations and OS version. While the Vivo Y15s pairs 3GB of RAM with 32 of storage and runs FuntouchOS 11.1 with Android 11 (Go edition), the Vivo Y15A features 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and the brand’s own user interface based on regular Android 11.

Take note that as with Vivo‘s other modern units, both have 1GB of idle ROM space that can be used as extended RAM.

Other highlights of the Y15s and Y15A include an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a selfie soft-light band, a 5,000mAh battery, and a big, 6.51-inch screen — or what the company calls a Halo FullView Display. You can see the Y15 series phones’ full respective specs below.
