Saving the best for last: ASUS Philippines has finally unveiled the pricing and availability of the ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro gaming smartphones.

Locally, the ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro are priced as follows:

• ASUS ROG Phone 5s
  • 12GB/256GB: P42,995 (around $853)
  • 16GB/512GB: P49,995 ($991)
• ASUS ROG Phone 5s Pro
  • 18GB/512GB: P59,995 ($1,190)

Both will be available in Phantom Black and Storm White colors by the end of the month, er, year at partner stores and retailers nationwide. Also, take note that the Pro variant coming here will be bundled with an Aero Active Cooler 5 accessory worth P2,495 ($49) to keep the phone cool while gaming or performing demanding tasks.

On the outside, the ROG Phone 5s series retains the overall aesthetic of the standard ROG Phone 5 from earlier this year. Compared to the vanilla 5s variant, the built-in storage of the 5s Pro goes all the way to 512GB, and the phone has a touch sensor on the back, as well as a secondary display that can show a variety of cool animations to indicate the phone is charging, taking a call, running a game with X Mode enabled, and more.

The big upgrade here, of course, is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 Plus, versus the Snapdragon 888 of the regular ROG Phone 5. You also get a slight bump in the display department, with both models sporting a more responsive Super AMOLED screen with an industry-leading 360Hz touch-sampling rate.
