Good news to those who have been eyeing the Vivo Y73: The smartphone will get a markdown in the Philippines soon.

According to Vivo, you can buy the Y73 online or offline for only P13,999 (around $267) starting May 1. Recall that the handset launched locally in March with a suggested retail price of P14,999 ($286).

Marketed as a perfect travel companion for capturing the best adventure stories, the Vivo Y73 features a 64-megapixel triple rear camera with updated algorithms, AI-supported noise reduction, improved Night mode, and Ultra Stable Video. The selfie camera, on the other hand, is equipped with a 16-megapixel sensor and supports Steadiface Selfie Video.

Other key specs include a 4,000mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging for topping up the unit to 61% in just 30 minutes; 128GB storage that can be extended up to 1TB; and a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 2,400 x 1,080 resolution.

And then there’s the design. The Diamond Flare variant’s back has a diamond pattern and a blue-purple gradient finish. For minimalists, there’s the Roman Black variant, whose back features subtle vertical lines that resemble racing stripes. Both are not fingerprint-magnet, thanks to an anti-glare glass incorporated into the rear cover.
