Of the many flagship products Huawei just launched globally, two are already arriving in the Philippines this month.

(Update, June 13: Huawei Watch Fit 2 or Apple Watch SE? Which one fits your healthy lifestyle? We compare the two to help you decide which smartwatch to get if you’re in the market for one now!)

The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro and Huawei Watch Fit 2 will be released locally for P16,999 (roughly $324) and P6,499 ($124), respectively, starting May 27. However, you can already preorder the GT 3 Pro from May 20 to May 26 — and get a free Huawei FreeBuds 4i worth P3,599 ($69) and a Huawei strap valued at P1,999 ($38).

There’s more: If you buy the Huawei Watch Fit 2 by June 30, you’ll receive a free Huawei Scale 3 worth P1,399 ($27). But you have to hurry, because the offer is good only until supplies last.

The luxuriously designed Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is available in ceramic (43mm) and titanium (46mm) editions. The smaller variant has an AMOLED screen measuring 1.32 inches and a battery that can last for a maximum of seven days on a single charge. The bigger version, on the other hand, boasts a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and up to 14 days of battery life. Both use a sapphire-glass lens and a ceramic back case.

The Watch GT 3 Pro comes with ECG [electrocardiogram] analysis and TruSeen 5.0+ data-monitoring technology to allow for a more accurate heart-rate measurement and blood-oxygen monitoring. It has two new Sports modes — Free Diving (up to 30 meters deep) and Golf — and offers more than 100 workout modes. There’s also an integrated dual-band, five-system global-navigation satellite system and many watch faces to choose from.

The Huawei Watch Fit 2 is perfect for health-conscious consumers who prefer something a bit more playful and colorful, with a metal frame that screams “style” and is paired with a matching silicone strap.

The AMOLED screen is big at 1.74 inches, and the bezels are narrow. You can use the new chessboard launcher design for an interactive experience and the Tap to Transfer feature, which, as the term indicates, lets you tap devices together to transfer files, such as when you want to use a particular picture from smartphone as your watch face.

With a built-in speaker (finally) and a microphone, the Watch Fit 2 allows you to answer phone calls on it via Bluetooth. There’s also support for a quick chat reply on WhatsApp. Play music directly on the smartwatch with offline music playback or manage music playback through apps? Check. Check flights and the weather? Just slide right to get to Huawei Assistant’s Today screen.

The Huawei Watch Fit 2 now already has a Rope Skipping mode and professional-fitness guidance features such as Health Living Shamrock and all-day health management. You get an animated fitness coach and 96 workout modes, too.

Battery life won’t be an issue; this wearable device can last up to 10 days with typical usage. You can even get a whole day of use on just a 5-minute charge, Huawei says.
