Infinix Mobile‘s latest Note series enters the Philippine market with the launch of the Infinix Note 12 — and with it, the introduction of Filipina actress Andrea Brillantes as the brand’s newest endorser.

(Update, July 9: The Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G and Infinix Note 12 5G have been launched as the series’ first 5G phones!)

Just like other Infinix phones, the Note 12 is easy on the budget, going for P8,999 (around $170) for the 8GB/128GB model and P9,999 ($189) for the 8GB/256GB version at official retailers nationwide and on Shopee.

Here’s better news: If you buy it from the latter anytime between 12 a.m. and 9 a.m. on June 13, the regular prices go down to P8,299 ($157) and P9,299 ($176), respectively. It comes in a box with a PUBG Mobile theme, too. Infinix is even throwing in a free smartphone case in limited stocks that celebrate the company’s partnership with the popular free-to-play battle-royale game.

Andrea Brillantes unboxes the Infinix Note 12 G96 model

The Infinix Note 12 that will be released in the Philippines is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G96 — not G88 — chip. It’s available in Force Black, Sapphire Blue, and Snowfall, but our favorite is the black variant, because of the swishing texture on its rear cover.

The handset has a thin profile at 7.8mm — you wouldn’t know it packs a big, 5,000mAh battery with support for 33-watt fast charging. It also features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, a 100,000: 1 contrast ratio, and a 92% screen-to-body ratio; a 50-megapixel triple rear camera that Infinix claims is great for night photography; a 16-megapixel selfie sensor; a side-mounted fingerprint sensor; and a user interface based on Android 12.
