It’s all in the (Galaxy) family! Samsung has rolled out the red carpet for its newest products at the recently concluded Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event in New York.

The Korean OEM has stayed true to the leaks and rumors, unfortunately, announcing the latest additions to its foldable, smartwatch, and wireless-earphones lineups, just as predicted weeks ago. It welcomed the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 to its foldable family, and also added the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, Galaxy Watch5, and Galaxy Buds2 Pro to its portfolio. All five devices will be available in the Philippines through offline and online channels, we’re told.

As for the local pricing, Samsung’s latest offerings will be priced as follows:

Preorders start today, August 10. If you purchase the Fold4 and Flip4 early, you will be entitled to a preorder bundle worth up to P33,500 ($605), depending on which model you buy. This includes a hefty 50% discount on the Galaxy Buds2 Pro or 30% off the Galaxy Watch5 series, as well as Samsung’s screen-protection coverage for the new foldables worth up to P9,499 ($171). You also get a free cover, S Pen stylus, and wireless adapter bundled with the Fold4 or a case plus a wireless charger when you opt for the company’s clamshell-style foldable.

If you don’t need a premium pair of TWS earbuds or a smartwatch, you can enjoy a P5,000 ($90) discount on the Fold4 or Flip4, or any Samsung device of your choice.

Samsung Philippines has also a new “trade up” program for those who wish to get discounts of up to P30,000 ($539) when trading in their old smartphones for a Galaxy Z Fold4 or Galaxy Z Flip4. Those who participate in the program will also net a P10,000 ($180) discount on the Fold4 or P8,000 ($144) on the Flip4.
