This is it! Infinix Mobile has finally revealed when its latest flagship phone is launching in the Philippines.

(Update, October 12: What an aggressive pricing for the Philippine market! Look.)

According to the company, the Infinix Zero Ultra 5G will be officially introduced to the local market October 12. That’s just five days from today, October 7, suggesting that the Philippines is one of Infinix’s key markets. After all, the brand grew 320% year-on-year in the country in the second quarter of 2022, making it the third-largest smartphone vendor here.

The Infinix Zero Ultra 5G launched globally alongside the company’s animated Xboy Explorer NFT collection. Buyers of the phone will be entitled to a lottery card that offers the chance to claim an NFT

Among the notable features of the Infinix Zero Ultra 5G is its 180-watt Thunder Charge standard, paired with a 4,500mAh battery, which will allow you to charge the device from 0% to 100% in a mere 12 minutes. It should be safe, as it got a TÜV Rheinland Safety Certification.

There’s also a 200-megapixel main camera on the back here. It’s coupled with optical image stabilization and functions like DOL-HDR, Dual-view Video, and Sky Remap for a pro-grade photography and videography experience.

Other noteworthy specs of the Android 12-based Infinix Zero Ultra 5G include a 120Hz AMOLED punch-hole display measuring 6.8 inches and a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, which, in our experience, can run modern games, including Genshin Impact, at medium to high graphics settings.

The question now is how much will the Infinix Zero Ultra 5G be in the Philippines? The handset’s international price is aggressive — only $520, or roughly P30,617. Will it be even more affordable here? Let’s cross our fingers.
