OPPO sub-brand OnePlus has previously announced that the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G will be launched alongside the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 at 7 p.m. Indian time (2:30 p.m. British summer time and 9:30 p.m. Philippine time) on April 4.

(Update, April 6: We now have the open-sale date of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G and OnePlus Nord Buds 2 in the Philippines!)

But it seems we finally have an idea of what to expect ahead of the unveiling.

Several reliable tipsters have claimed that the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G features a bigger 120Hz FHD+ LCD display this time around — 6.7 inches compared with the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G‘s 6.59-incher. The triple-rear-camera system’s main sensor steps up from 64 megapixels to 108 megapixels and the 2-megapixel macro unit has been replaced with a 2-megapixel microscope one.

There are changes in the charging and operating-system areas as well. While the predecessor gets 33-watt fast-charging technology and ships with an Android 12-based OS, the upcoming smartphone is said to support 67 watts of quick charging and come preinstalled with Android 13 with the brand’s OxygenOS 13 on top.

The rest of the specs, it appears, are the same, from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor to the 5,000mAh battery capacity.

There’s no word yet if the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G will be released in the Philippines. But if it does come here, it may become available in the country in June. Take note that last year’s Nord CE 2 Lite debuted globally in April and was rolled out to local stores in June with a price tag of P12,999 (around $240).
