DOOGEE‘s first smartphone offering in the Philippines will go on sale next week at a more budget-friendly introductory price.

The DOOGEE S mini, a compact rugged phone ideal for those who spend a lot of time outdoors, is officially priced at P13,999 (around $253 converted) on the local market, but it will be discounted to just P12,699 ($229) during DOOGEE’s 12.12 sale on TikTok Shop. Even better, it will be bundled with a free IP68-certified DOOGEE CS2 smartwatch worth P2,499 ($45) for a limited time.

For the money, the DOOGEE S mini pairs a 3,000mAh battery that supports 18-watt USB-C charging with a small and perfectly handy 4.5-inch qHD IPS display that has a 1,170 x 480 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. And while those numbers might not seem impressive, keep in mind that a handset’s resolution and screen size play a major role in battery mileage.

Plus, DOOGEE’s mini-sized rugged smartphone is equipped with an efficient 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 4G chipset coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 graphics, 8GB of physical RAM, and 256GB of internal storage, to ensure long battery life on a single charge. There’s also a secondary screen at the back of the phone that shows the date, time, battery level, temperature, and humidity level, so you don’t have to unlock your device often and use the main display.

To take pictures, the S mini sports a 50-megapixel rear camera alongside a 2-megapixel AI sensor and an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. Rounding out the specs sheet, you get DOOGEE’s custom overlay based on Android 13 out of the box.

Being a rugged phone, the DOOGEE S mini comes with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, and the device is MIL-STD 810H compliant, meaning it should be able to withstand a beating gracefully.
