It’s been dropped and smashed like doing that is the most natural thing to do. And it seems it has survived the ultra-tough tests it went through ahead of its launch in the Philippines.

Today, the HONOR X9b 5G is finally here, with the great potential to become another bestseller like its predecessor. Why not? It’s a notable upgrade from the popular HONOR X9a 5G, and it’s priced at only P16,999 (around $304) — roughly the same as how much the latter sold for at launch in the country. Plus if you preorder the smartphone at any time between January 12 and January 19, you get a free HONOR gift box and HONOR Choice X5 Earbuds valued at P4,000 ($71).

Quite an easy decision if you’re looking for a durable handset that boasts other great features, too. You can pre-purchase the HONOR X9 5G online on the following platforms:

Besides durability courtesy of the 6.78-inch HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Display with SGS Five-star Overall Drop Resistance Certification, the HONOR X9b 5G has other things going for it.

The device should let you go on and on and on for days, what with a 5,800mAh battery that supports fast charging, too. You get 256GB storage for the pictures and videos you capture on the 108-megapixel triple-camera system on the back. There’s an extra 8GB of RAM on top of the 12GB, thanks to HONOR‘s RAM Turbo feature.

The HONOR X9b 5G likewise sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, IP53 water and dust resistance, Android 13 layered with MagicOS 7.2, and a lightweight design. It doesn’t hurt that the phone is pleasing to the eyes, especially the Sunrise Orange vegan-leather variant we’ve been using for weeks now.
