realme 12 Plus 5G, realme 12 5G spotted on certification sites

It seems the non-Pro versions of the luxury-watch-inspired realme 12 Pro series smartphones will join the lineup soon after the January 29 global launch of the latter.

(Update, February 21: The realme 12 Series 5G is confirmed to launch in the Philippines!)

The realme 12 Plus 5G, which has the model number RMX3867, has already been certified by several regulatory bodies, the most recent of which is Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission. The realme 12 5G with model number RMX3867, on the other hand, has been spotted in the database of China’s 3C certification authority.

Not much is known about the two handsets, but at least we know more about the Plus variant. According to the listings, the realme 12 Plus 5G features a 5,000mAh battery with 67-watt fast charging, two SIM slots with access to 5G, support for NFC, and Android 14 layered with realme UI 5.

An image accompanying the listing on the Federal Communications Commission site shows the rear camera on the device is circular, just like that of the realme 12 Pro series, while the Camera FV-5 database reveals the 64-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture is assisted by an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

As for the realme 12 5G, the only thing we know about it thus far is it will have a 67-watt fast-charging capability, as the charger can handle 11 VDC/6.1A power input.

There’s a huge chance at least one of these models will arrive in the Philippines, considering the non-Pro versions of realme‘s number series were also released locally.
