The wait is over, folks. Weeks after Apple‘s global launch, the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the company’s first foldable are finally getting their Philippine debut.

Apple Philippines has quietly put the local preorder and release dates on its online store, giving Filipinos something much more concrete than another “check back for availability” page to stare at. For the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, preorders open Oct. 2 at 12:01 a.m., with availability starting Oct. 16 at 12:01 a.m. The iPhone Duo follows a couple of weeks later. Preorders begin Oct. 16 at 8 p.m., while actual availability starts Oct. 30.

And yes, there’s a reason to pay attention to both.

The iPhone 18 Pro Series brings Apple’s latest A20 Pro chip, a new vapor-chamber cooling system and a major change to the camera setup: a mechanical variable-aperture system for the 48-megapixel Fusion Main camera. Instead of relying entirely on computational photography to simulate depth of field, the six-blade aperture lets the camera physically control how much light enters the lens and how much of the scene appears in focus.

The Pro models also get the Cupertino giant’s latest display and imaging upgrades, along with the new Apple Intelligence features built into iOS 27. The Pro Max version remains the bigger option for anyone who wants more screen real estate and battery life, while both smartphones push storage all the way to 2TB.

Here’s how Apple Philippines is pricing them:

• iPhone 18 Pro
  • 256GB: ₱94,990 (roughly $1,515)
  • 512GB: ₱110,990 ($1,770)
  • 1TB: ₱142,990 ($2,281)
  • 2TB: ₱189,990 ($3,031)
• iPhone 18 Pro Max
  • 256GB: ₱99,990 ($1,595)
  • 512GB: ₱115,990 ($1,850)
  • 1TB: ₱147,990 ($2,360)
  • 2TB: ₱194,990 ($3,111)

Those are Apple Philippines’ online-store prices, though, so don’t assume every retailer will match them. Authorized Apple resellers and telcos can set their own pricing and are likely to have their own combinations of bundles, trade-in offers, installment plans, and other preorder deals once those are announced.

Then there’s the iPhone Duo. Apple’s first foldable is the more radical arrival — and the one with the more radical price tag. The Duo uses a book-style folding design, with a conventional outer display that opens into a much larger 7.6-inch inner screen.

It’s powered by the same A20 Pro chip as the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max and uses a dual-battery system to keep the larger folding display going. The company has also built more tablet-like functionality into iOS 27 for the inner screen, including Split View, while Apple Pencil support gives the Duo another trick beyond simply having a bigger display. In other words, Apple is trying to make the unfolded state useful enough that you’ll actually want to use it that way.

The iPhone Duo’s Philippine prices are decidedly premium:

• 256GB: ₱159,990 ($2,552)
• 512GB: ₱175,990 ($2,807)
• 1TB: ₱207,990 ($3,317)
• 2TB: ₱254,990 ($4,067)

Again, those are Apple’s online-store prices. The eventual reseller and telco prices may differ, so shoppers should wait for the actual preorder orders before deciding where to buy.

And there will be plenty of places to choose from. Authorized Apple resellers like Beyond the Box, Digital Walker, and Power Mac Center, along with major local telcos, have already started collecting registrations of interest. They haven’t revealed their full preorder offers yet, but those are likely to be the pages worth watching if you’re looking for installment deals, trade-in offers, or bundled perks rather than simply buying the smartphone outright from Apple.

For now, the Philippine launch calendar is simple:

• iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max: preorder Oct. 2 at 12:01 a.m.; available Oct. 16 at 12:01 a.m.
• iPhone Duo: preorder Oct. 16 at 8 p.m.; available Oct. 30.

After weeks of watching the rest of the world get its hands on Apple’s newest iPhones, Filipinos finally have dates — and, more importantly, prices — to work with. Now the real waiting game begins: seeing what local retailers and telcos will actually offer when preorder day arrives.
