It was the first smartphone company to officially launch an Apple iPhone X lookalike in the country. And today, Vivo Philippines is ready to accept preorders for the device it unveiled last week, the Vivo V9.

Starting today, March 26, until April 5, 2018, you can preorder the Vivo V7‘s successor from authorized stores nationwide. Early adopters will get an additional six months of warranty and a Bobby anti-theft backpack. Those translate to savings worth P4,990 (about $95).

Priced at P17,990 ($344), the Vivo V9 boasts a 6.3-inch, FullHD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The resemblance with the iPhone X starts with the notch at the top of the screen. It houses a 24-megapixel, wide-angle selfie camera that’s loaded with artificial intelligence- and augmented reality-features like AR Stickers, AI Face Beauty, and Face Access.

At the back is another inspiration from Apple’s 10th-anniversary smartphone: a vertically arranged dual-camera system located on the top-left side of the unit. A 16-megapixel sensor is paired with a 5-megapixel one to produce shots with bokeh effect.

However, there’s a fingerprint sensor right smack at the upper half of the device to give you a security option besides face recognition.

The Vivo V9 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 626 processor, which is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable memory. It has a 3,260mAh battery, and Funtouch OS 4.0 is placed on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.
