In a social media post, Realme has confirmed that the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro will be unveiled in the South Asian country September 3rd. But as early as today, a reliable tipster has shared the Pro model’s specs.

Tweet revealing the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro’s launch date in India. One or both of the smartphones use the company’s 65-watt SuperDart technology

According to the leak, the Realme 7 Pro has a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 sensor assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 119-degree field of view; a 2-megapixel monochrome portrait camera; and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. This is apart from the purported 4,500mAh battery’s support for 65 watts of fast charging. The series’ hashtag, #CaptureSharperChargeFaster should refer to the said features.

Just like the Realme 6 Pro, the upcoming model is supposedly powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G processor paired with 128GB of storage and either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. It is said to sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 2,400 x 1,080 resolution and an under-display fingerprint sensor; a 32-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera with an 85-degree field of view; and dual stereo speakers. And your color options Mirror Blue and Mirror Silver.

Will the Realme 7 Pro — and its non-Pro sibling — be launched in the Philippines? If yes, will it be in September, about a week or two after the announcement in India even though its predecessor was introduced here only in May because of COVID-19-related lockdown issues? We can’t wait to get a confirmation from the brand.
