We’re only a few days away from seeing the OPPO F9 launch in the Philippines on August 15. We doubt, however, there will be plenty to be surprised by.

Pretty much everything about the phone is known at this point, what with a steady stream of leaks and rumors spilling nearly every detail OPPO has been withholding from us. What we haven’t seen much of yet is the actual device being caught on video and shown entirely, with its specs sheet thrown in for good measure.

A couple of videos have been uploaded to an OPPO user group on Facebook. They mostly reveal the front and back of the F9, showcasing its redesigned front and back and rear-facing camera system with dual lenses. The specs of the OPPO F9 are also flashed on the screen of one unit, and they are in line with what we’ve heard before.

For those who missed our coverage so far, the phone will likely feature a 6.3-inch notched display that uses LTPS-TFT LCD technology and MediaTek’s Helio P60 platform inside, coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB of expandable memory. The notch might house a 25-megapixel camera for selfies, while the back-facing cameras have been confirmed to include 16- and 2-megapixel sensors.

OPPO’s proprietary VOOC fast-charging technology will be available on the F9 as well. That means the phone can get enough power for two hours of talk time after just 5 minutes of charging the rumored 3,500mAh battery. It’s a comeback feature in the F series. The last model to launch with VOOC was the OPPO F3 Plus.

In terms of pricing, there are whispers the OPPO F9 will cost the same as its predecessor at launch, before the recent price cut. The OPPO F7 is now only P14,990 (around $282) in the Philippines, down from a high of P17,990 ($338) when it debuted locally.
