We wrote about the upcoming Vivo V11 launch in India two days ago. Today, it looks like we can add the Philippines to the list of countries that will get the successor to the Vivo V9.

The Vivo Philippines official Facebook page just posted this teaser.

It’s almost the same as the invite the company sent to the Indian press. Plus, we got an email from them last week saying that “exciting days are coming, as we pump up the hype for something new from Vivo.” Thus, we have a pretty strong feeling that the Vivo V11 is the smartphone that’s arriving here soon.

As can be gleaned from the image, the V11 is reportedly the V series’ first device to incorporate a fingerprint sensor under the screen. The feature used to be reserved for the Chinese manufacturer’s more premium NEX and X lineups. The only Vivo phone available in the country that has an in-display fingerprint scanner, for example, is the Snapdragon 660-powered Vivo X21, and it is priced at P29,999 (around $562).

Leaks reveal that besides that feature, the Vivo V11 is also getting a gradient rear panel and a 6.4-inch, 2,340 x 1,080 display that looks like the OPPO F9‘s. A dual-camera system on the back pairs a 12-megapixel sensor with a 5-megapixel one. The front, on the other hand, has 25 megapixels.

According to the rumor mill, the Android Oreo handset uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor mated to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable memory. And it sports a 3,400mAh battery that supports fast charging.
