Vivo’s gaming-centric sub-brand, iQOO — short for “I Quest On and On” and pronounced “eye-coo,” in case you forgot — gets a new addition. Meet the newly launched Vivo iQOO Neo 855.

Packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and up to 8GB of RAM, it’s no slouch. And it’s budget-friendly, too, for a phone with such features as software boosters, a liquid-cooling system, Cooling Turbo heat management, and AI Turbo, which Vivo says “anticipates resource-intensive scenarios and intelligently allocates CPU/GPU power.” Check out the phone’s prices in China:

  • 6GB/64GB: ¥1,998 (around P14,493 or $283)
  • 6GB/128GB: ¥2,298 (P16,669 or $325)
  • 8GB/128GB: ¥2,498 (P18,120 or $353)
  • 8GB/256GB: ¥2,698 (P19,570 or $382)

Yes, there are four Vivo iQOO Neo 855 variants, and they all come with fast UFS 3.0 storage except for the first one, which has UFS 2.1. There is no microSD expansion here, unfortunately.

Looks-wise, the smartphone does not stray too far from past designs of the iQOO line. It comes in three colors: Carbon Black, Electro-optic Violet, and Iceland/Icelandic Aurora, a gradient color option that mixes shades of Blue and Purple.

On the back, the brand adds a triple-camera setup with a 12-megapixel main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The device features a 4,500mAh battery with support for 33-watt fast charging. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack.
