So, how much is the OPPO Reno 3 in the Philippines? Locally, the phone is priced at P18,990 ($374) for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Again, bear in mind this is for the global edition of the Reno 3 sporting a 44-megapixel front camera and powered by a MediaTek Helio P90 chipset with IMG PowerVR GM 9446 graphics.

OPPO Reno 3 preorder details

The Super AMOLED screen measures 6.4 inches diagonally, runs at 2,400 x 1,080, stands tall at a 20:9 aspect ratio, and has a waterdrop notch at the top for the selfie camera. It’s a 60Hz panel, too. The Reno 3 also gets a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display, keeping the back of the phone (mostly) clean.

Meanwhile, the quad-lens setup on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary sensor, alongside a 13-megapixel telephoto shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle option, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.

As for the battery, the OPPO Reno 3 comes with a 4,025mAh cell that charges at 20 watts using the company’s VOOC 3.0 fast-charging standard.

OPPO claims it is about 23% faster than the previous generation and lets you recharge the phone from dead to 75% in 30 minutes. Not the fastest out there, but still impressive, especially for a non-flagship.

We’ll publish our review of the OPPO Reno 3 soon, so stay tuned for that.
