Huawei Nova 5T on sale for P11,190 till Oct 10

It turns out we weren’t able to read the whole caption of the Facebook post announcing the price cut of the Huawei Nova 5T.

We thought the sale was only for yesterday, October 4, where we saw the Crush Green variant of the smartphone’s price drop from P15,990 (around $330 converted) to P11,190 ($231).

So we were surprised to see the Nova — in both Midsummer Purple and Crush Green colors this time — still discounted at the recently launched Huawei Store Online Philippines today. Silly us, the promo is actually valid until October 10.

The Huawei Nova 5T is one of the company’s last handsets with Google Mobile Services. In the Philippines, it was released a year ago with a price tag of P18,990 ($392). It features a 48-megapixel quad camera, a 32-megapixel selfie shooter, and a Kirin 980 chip mated to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The P11,190 offer is a steal; we believe the Nova 5T is still one of the most impressive midrangers, especially if you’re fond of taking pictures. You know how impressed we are with it? It was one of the two handsets we brought to an international launch of a flagship phone, one of the last global events we attended before the pandemic struck. You may want to revisit our review of the unit here.
