The new Infinix smartphone that went on sale starting January 15 in the Philippines will be cheaper for a limited time.

On February 2, at Shopee’s 2.2 Cashback Sale, you can buy the Infinix Note 8 from the brand’s official store on the e-commerce platform for only P7,990 (roughly $166 converted). The handset’s regular price is P8,490 ($177), so you’ll basically get a P500 ($10) discount.

The Infinix Note 8, being part of the company’s Note series phones, is all about being big. Its HD+ punch-hole screen measures 6.95 inches diagonally, which makes the unit closer to being a tablet. The said feature makes it perfect for those who are after a more immersive experience when, say, watching a movie or gaming, but aren’t that that much concerned about resolutions.

It’s a plus that the handset comes with dual surround-sound speakers with DTS audio processing to complement the visual element and a 5,200mAh battery with 18-watt USB-C charging to keep you from reaching for the charger more often.

The Infinix Note 8 likewise sports a a MediaTek Helio G80 chip paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, a quad-camera system headlined by a 64-megapixel sensor, two selfie cameras fronted by a 16-megapixel sensor, and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the power key.
