We’re getting not one but two OPPO smartphones in the Philippines on March 26.

(Update, March 23: Avengers, assemble! The OPPO Reno 5 Marvel Edition has become available in the Philippines earlier than expected. Details here!)

OPPO Philippines hasn’t announced it on its social media pages at the time of writing this article, but the OPPO Reno 5 Marvel Edition, which debuted in Indonesia more than a week ago, is actually going to be available locally on the same day as the OPPO A94. This is based on a listing we at Revü spotted at the brand’s official store on Lazada, the ecommerce site that will exclusively carry the limited-edition model.

There’s no disclosed suggested retail price yet, but in Indonesia, the SRP is Rp5,700,000, which translates to around P19,205 in Philippine pesos and $396 in U.S. dollars sans taxes.

The OPPO Reno 5 Marvel Edition is essentially a souped-up Reno 5 4G. The specs are the same — from the 64-megapixel quad camera on the back and the 44-megapixel selfie sensor to the 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. But its design is amped up, with OPPO putting its own red-and-black spin on the Avengers theme.

There are seven wallpapers to choose from featuring Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, and Hawkeye; Marvel-inspired home-screen icons; and customized case, earphones, and packaging. Even the SIM-card ejector and charger are branded. Watch the official OPPO Reno 5 Marvel Edition unboxing video below to see what we’re talking about.
