(Update, March 22: Check out our first impressions of the OPPO A94 ahead of the March 26 Philippine launch here!)
The company has revealed that the OPPO A94, which was launched as the OPPO Reno5 F in Kenya, will be sold nationwide from March 26. The device is being marketed as a great tool for making video content, no surprise about that. OPPO has made great strides in the camera department and has homed in on that in promoting its smartphones, after all.
But an equally important part of its campaign for the OPPO A94 now is that the handset offers “value-for-money, immersive mobile gaming experience” as well, as OPPO Philippines marketing director Raymond Xia says. Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 features like Game Focus Mode, Gaming Shortcut Mode, Game Floating Window, and Bullet Screen Message should help improve every A94 user’s gaming experience.
If you hadn’t noticed, the No. 1 smartphone brand in the Philippines has been all out in supporting the local gaming industry lately. It’s the official mobile partner of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League’s season 7 tournament and of the Philippine leg of the 2021 League of Legends: Wild Rift SEA Icon Series. It now counts personalities like Ashley Gosiengfiao and Eric “Eruptuion” Tai as its gaming ambassadors. And those are just some of its current esports-related efforts.
