After launching the camera-focused Tecno Camon 17 Pro and Camon 17P in the Philippines, Tecno Mobile is here yet again to release another smartphone — but this time for the more budget-friendly segment.

The brand has announced that the Tecno Spark 7 with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is now available in the country for a low price of P4,990 (approximately $99). For now, it can only be purchased from its official store on Shopee, but the handset is probably going to be offered in other channels soon.

If you’re after a longer battery life more than anything else, you’d probably want to consider the Tecno Spark 7. It boasts a big, 6,000mAh battery, so it should last you more than a day if you’re an average user. Standby time is pegged at 30 days.

Up front is a 6.5-inch HD+ Dot Notch screen, where an 8-megapixel is housed inside the notch. The back has a 16-megapixel AI dual camera that offers features such as Video Bokeh and AI Portrait. Underneath is a MediaTek Helio A25 chip, and the user interface is based on Android 11.

And the Spark 7’s design? Well, it certainly is different from the look of many of the smartphones that are on the market these days. As Tecno says, “Business at the front, [and] party at the back.” With a playful style, it gives the colors black, green, and blue a different twist to them.
