If you’re looking for a quality budget phone, Hong Kong-based Infinix Mobile has something new for the local market. The Infinix Hot 10i will go on sale in the Philippines starting September 9.
Infinix’s latest budget blower will be available through the brand’s official online store on Shopee. It will fetch a suggested retail price of P5,990 or around $120 converted for 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
For a limited time, though, you can purchase the Infinix Hot 10i for as low as P5,190 ($104) during its first sale day. Not bad, considering the smartphone brings upscale looks (for the price) and is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P65 chipset.
You might recall that the Helio P65 was a fairly popular chip back in the day. Launched in 2019, you’ll find it in midrange devices like the Vivo S1, Vivo Y19, and Samsung Galaxy A41. Now, the P65 is powering the upcoming Infinix model, a much more affordable offering than the devices we mentioned.
Up front, the Infinix Hot 10i boasts an adequately sized 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch for the 5-megapixel selfie camera. It has a refresh rate of 60Hz, which is standard fare among entry-level handsets. The device’s glossy back flaunts a square camera module with dual rear cameras and quad-LED flash. The main camera packs a 13-megapixel sensor.
Impressively, the Hot 10i also comes with a physical fingerprint reader and the company’s custom Android skin based on Android 11 with the Dar-link game booster baked in. Like the Infinix Hot 10 Play, a 6,000mAh battery keeps the lights on here.
