Infinix Mobile is no stranger to devices that provide great value for money, like smartphones in its Hot series, which are aimed at budget-sensitive users.
(Update, October 29: The Infinix Hot 11S is now available in the Philippines! Check out our unboxing here.)
And just in time for the holiday shopping craze, the brand has announced the launch of the Infinix Hot 11S in the Philippines on October 28. As you might recall, the phone debuted in other markets last month.
Locally, the Infinix Hot 11S with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage has a suggested retail price of P6,990 (around $138) and is offered in Green Wave, Silver Wave, Polar Black, and 7 Degrees Purple colors. We don’t know yet if the company will offer a discount on its official release date, though.
The Infinix Hot 11S features an improved design with a huge camera cutout at the back alongside a physical fingerprint reader. Infinix has also used a gorgeous 3D pattern on the rear to distinguish its latest entry-level phone.
Like the Hot 10s before it, the Hot 11S boasts a 90Hz refresh rate, which should make for a smoother navigation and gaming experience. And although the screen of the latter is slightly smaller than what came before, it’s been upgraded to FHD+ from a 720p display.
The upcoming model is one of the first devices powered by a MediaTek Helio G88, which is an iterative upgrade over the Hot 10s’ Helio G85 chipset. The phone also bumps up the megapixels on its primary camera to 50 megapixels. The battery is 5,000mAh and charges over a USB-C port.
