We had a feeling the Vivo Y76 5G would arrive in the Philippines after its debut in Malaysia. True enough, Vivo has announced that the device is coming here soon. Even better, we at Revü already know its price.

The latest 5G-ready Y series phone is officially launching in the country December 4. And on that day, you may already buy it for P16,999 (roughly $337 converted) from the brand’s official shop on Shopee or Lazada. It will become available at offline stores, too; we’re just not sure if the release is going to be on the 4th as well.

Vivo Philippines is marketing the Y76 5G as a smartphone made for vlogging, what with its 50-megapixel triple rear camera, 16-megapixel front-facing sensor, and features such as Extreme Night mode. As you can see in the promo material and even the retail box of the unit, though, the Vivo Y76 5G is targeting gamers; the brand has partnered with Moonton’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

In case you didn’t know, the Vivo Y76 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700, the same 5G chipset that is also used by devices like the Realme 8 5G, Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, and Vivo Y52 5G, which has just landed in the Philippines via Globe Telecom.

The new Y series model likewise features 8GB of RAM, which can be expanded up to 12GB via virtual memory; 128GB of storage; a 4,100mAh battery that supports 44 watts of quick charging; a 6.58-inch screen; and Android 11 layered with Vivo’s own user interface.
