Preorder details at a glance

For a limited time, those who purchase any of the two smartphones during the presale period will receive a P500 ($10) discount voucher plus a free 2-in-1 clock speaker (V23 5G) or Lavanda TWS earbuds (V23e 5G), depending on the model. The Vivo V23 5G is the first color-changing phone for global markets. It’s also powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset with a 5G modem for faster data connectivity where available, while a 4,200mAh battery keeps the lights on.

The V23 5G supports 44-watt fast charging, which the company says should charge the handset from 0% to 68% in just 30 minutes. As expected, the phone’s cameras are among its main attractions, sporting a 64-megapixel primary image sensor at the back and a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus for selfies and vlogging. The front-facing setup also includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide option, same as the secondary camera on the rear, to help you fit more people into your selfies.
