A week ago, we at Revü spotted the Tecno POVA 3 on the brand’s official store on Lazada Philippines. Too bad there was no price listed at the time yet. That changes today.
The Tecno POVA 2’s successor is now shown to have a launch price of P8,999 ($172), with buyers getting a chance to receive free “P400 ($8) off” and P200 ($4) vouchers and Tecno Buds 2 earphones worth P799 ($15). It will be available in Eco Black, Tech Silver, and Electric Blue colors on May 25.

Marketed as a gaming-focused phone by Tecno Mobile Philippines, the Tecno POVA 3 has a massive battery — one that’s rated at 7,000mAh — so you can play a game nonstop for eight hours. That’s the claim, but we know that we can surely use the handset for more than a day with typical usage. Charging shouldn’t be a problem, because the smartphone supports 33-watt quick charging.
The POVA 3 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 chip, which can also be found in devices such as the Tecno Camon 18, Xiaomi’s Redmi 10, and Infinix Note 12. The SoC is paired with 6GB of RAM, which can still be extended up to 11GB, and 128GB of internal storage.
The screen is big and bordering on tablet-size levels at 6.9 inches and has a refresh rate of 90Hz. Expect a graphite cooling system, dual speakers, 50-megapixel triple-rear and 8-megapixel front camera, and a user interface that’s based on Android 12 as well.
