Xiaomi‘s 2021 flagships, still more powerful than most of the phones on the market today, just got a price cut in the Philippines.

(Update, June 18: Is the Xiaomi 11T series still a good buy in 2022, especially with the current price drop? We revisit the phones here!)

The Xiaomi 11T Pro and Xiaomi 11T are now more affordable by P2,000 (roughly $38). Originally selling for P29,999 (around $575) for the 8GB + 256GB variant and P24,999 ($479) for the 8GB + 128GB model, the Pro currently retails at P27,999 ($537) and P22,999 ($441), respectively. The regular 11T’s 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 128GB versions, on the other hand, are priced at P25,999 ($498) and P19,999 ($383), respectively — down from P27,999 ($537) and P21,999 ($422).

Price-drop announcement for the Philippine market

The Xiaomi 11T Pro and Xiaomi 11T are made for content creators, especially those who are into producing cinema-grade videos. Both devices boast a 108-megapixel triple rear camera and offers a suite of AI-powered camera-related tools, with the Pro model even allowing you to record in 8K.

The 5G smartphones also feature a highly rated 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, TrueColor, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 1,000 nits of peak brightness, a maximum of 480Hz of touch-sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. There’s Dolby Atmos and dedicated dual speakers professionally tuned by Harman Kardon.
