The Realme 9 series in the Philippines has just welcomed its newest member.

The Realme 9 4G with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is now official in the country and will go on sale on Lazada and at Realme stores nationwide starting tomorrow, June 15. It’s priced at P14,999 (roughly $282), but you can get it online for only P12,499 ($235) on June 19 — with an additional free one-year extended warranty at that — as one of the brand’s offers for Lazada’s Super Brand Day celebration.

Offline, every purchase of the smartphone from the 15th to the 19th comes with free Realme Buds Air 2 Neo earbuds valued at P1,990 ($37).

The Realme 9 4G debuted Samsung’s ISOCELL HM6 108-megapixel sensor, which features NonaPixel Plus and 9-sum pixel-binning technologies. The sensor is assisted by a secondary 8-megapixel camera for ultrawide shots and a 2-megapixel macro shooter that can supposedly capture crisp closeup photos as close as 4cm.

The phone boasts a 6.4-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling, is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and embeds a fingerprint sensor. Powering it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, which can, in our experience, handle intensive games with stable performance. There’s a big, 5,000mAh battery that supports 33-watt fast charging, too.

Running Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0, the Realme 9 4G is available in Stargaze White, Meteor Black, and — for those who fancy something bolder — Starburst Gold.
