The first tablet from OnePlus is now official alongside several other products, including the OnePlus 11 5G and OnePlus Buds Pro 2, both of which will soon be available in the Philippines.

The newly launched OnePlus Pad is a flagship device that gets the OPPO sub-brand into the tablet game with the industry’s first 7:5 aspect-ratio screen. The price hasn’t been set yet, but it will be available to preorder in the United States, Europe, and India sometime in April. The Pad will be compatible with the OnePlus Stylo stylus and OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard — each sold separately.

The LCD display measures 11.6 inches in size and is rated to refresh at up to 144Hz in a 2000p resolution. It also features an unusual aspect ratio of 7:5, meaning it’s about as wide but not as tall as the 4:3 screen used by most modern iPads. It supports Dolby Vision, which is the HDR format used by many online streaming services, including Netflix.

You also get Dolby Atmos for the tablet’s quartet of side-mounted speakers, along with OnePlus’ Omnibearing Sound Field technology for more immersive audio that adjusts between the left and right channels based on the tablet’s orientation.

Inside, the Pad is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 5G chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The battery is rated at 9,510mAh and should offer up to 14.5 hours of video playback on a single charge and a full month of standby life. A full charge is said to take around 80 minutes using the bundled 67-watt SuperVOOC power brick, which may help alleviate battery anxiety during marathon meetings or extended gaming sessions.

Moving to the back, the OnePlus Pad sports a large circular camera bump similar to other OnePlus flagships. The single rear-facing camera is 13 megapixels, while the front-facer for selfies and video chat packs an 8-megapixel sensor.
