Days after the vivo V29 Pro is spotted on vivo’s Philippine website, one of the models in the series has launched in another part of the world.

The vivo V29 Lite 5G smartphone has gone official in the Czech Republic, selling there for CZK8,499 (roughly P21,594 or $385) for the 8GB/128GB version starting June 15.

As with the other models in the previous vivo v lineups, there’s emphasis here on the device’s rear camera system, which pairs a 64-megapixel main sensor that supports optical image stabilization with 2-megapixel portrait and macro units. A 16-megapixel front shooter takes care of selfies. Expect functions such as Night, Bokeh Flare, Multi-Style, and Flash Portraits. There’s Double Exposure, too, allowing for layered images with the subject in front and, say, some scenery in the background.

The vivo V29 Lite likewise features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen with eye protection and a 120Hz refresh rate; a 5,000Mah battery that can be charged up to 44 watts; IP54 water and dust resistance; and an Android 13-based user interface.

Powering vivo‘s V29 Lite is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, the same 5G chipset that phones such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and the realme 10 Pro 5G use.
