Antutu has released its latest performance rankings in China for November 2023, featuring the best-performing Android smartphones in the flagship and sub-flagship categories. And it shows there’s a new top dog in the premium space.

Newly launched RedMagic 9 Pro Plus, the first gaming phone to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 5G chipset, debuted at No. 1 on the list for flagship handsets. It posted an average monthly benchmark score 2,188,631, just less than 5,000 points ahead of MediaTek Dimensity 9300-based vivo X100‘s 2,184,153. Only one other unit is powered by a MediaTek processor — and it’s the vivo X100 Pro, which also runs on the Dimensity 9300. The said model landed fifth with its 2,109,880 rating.

The rest of the smartphones that were able to enter the top 10 in the high-end category are equipped with Qualcomm chips, and four of them use the latest one, just like the RedMagic 9 Pro Plus. We’re talking about the iQOO 12, iQOO 12 Pro, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 14.

As for the sub-flagship group, we don’t really see much of a change here. All the devices that were in the October 2023 ranking figured in the latest one, except for the OPPO Reno9 Pro 5G, which was replaced by the OPPO Reno11 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 8200.

The Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2-powered realme GT Neo5 SE still led the list of best-performing sub-premium phones. And MediaTek-based models still dominated the category.
